If that's not the cutest Goddamn thing you ever heard, I just don't know what it is. Stephin Merritt's lyrics have always blown me away in the way that they're so simple and literal, yet convey everything I am thinking. Like, I play "I Don't Want to Get Over You" a lot, because I am indignant:
